Training Matt

Oh man what can I say about Matt. He was cracking me up this night and being SUPER annoying. So we decided to go over all of our emergency shut off procedures and Matt made it very entertaining and made it last a little longer then it should have. Usually is what you do it grab the booklet that has all of the emergency shut off procedures written in it then we pretty much walk through them without actually taking the big ladder and wrench with us. NONONO this was unacceptable with Matt and he decided we needed to go through every single step so of course we grabbed the ladder and had to make sure after EVERY single step to keep asking me "Can I do that?" I have never heard the phrase can I do that more in my life and of course my answer every single time was NO! (lol)
*I decided to show Matt carrying the ladder around and reading what do to next.

*Just showing him hard at work. I should have video taped this whole walk through so we could have counted how many times he asked me if he could do that step and how many times I said NO!

FLUBBBBBER!!!!!

Yes, yes you read the title correct... I did indeed say FLUBBER!!! So I walked into work one day and Heathyre was playing with some slimy looking substance. I asked what the heck is that? Heathyre said FLUBBER. We have this group called The Weekend College group who stays with us every other weekend. Well apparently they made flubber in one of their classes that day or maybe just for fun (I really don't remember) and they gave it to us at the desk. We had a lot of fun with that flubber.

*In this picture we put the flubber on the desk near the edge and it just slowly started to go over the side of the desk. We decided to see how far it would go after that.

*Well it never broke and it made it all the way to the floor!! :)




*So this video is showing how after a couple days flubber becomes bouncy. Yes, I enjoyed bouncing the flubber on the wall. It really doesn't take much to keep me entertained!!

Stealing Becki's Job

I'm moving on up and stealing the General Managers job this time. I thought of it more as me helping her out while she was gone because I'm super nice like that. It was a lot of fun though. I actually called Stacy on the walkie talkie and told her to come down to the desk when she could. I made it sound official and important. Of course she was up stairs actually working and I pulled her away just so I could act like Becki and FIRE her. SORRY STACY!!!

*This is what was so important to make Stacy drop what she was doing which was actual work to come and take a picture of me firing her. She almost looks sad enough for people to believe it and I almost look serious enough (or not).

*Okay this took like 20 minutes because I am an awful actress and couldn't stop laughing!! Stacy definitely doesn't look scared or sad here and I look nothing like I should if I was firing someone.

*Finally we have a winner. Stacy looks super scared and I'm not busting up laughing for once.

*This is Elizabeth showing me how it's done but I think I still see a smirk.. so nice try. She couldn't believe how long it took us to finally get a picture that we weren't laughing in.

Fourth Prank: Becki's AWESOME Christmas Office!

So this prank was done when Becki went on vacation back in December 2009. This is probably the biggest prank we have done and it took a couple days to complete. This prank took a lot of planning and I decided right before this prank that I would actually go out and buy a camcorder so we could start taping all the pranks we do. This was by far my favorite prank ever because it's no surprise what I'm about to say but I LOVE CHRISTMAS. This all started when Sarah and I were talking about pranks we could do on Becki's office when she leaves. The idea was brought up about doing her whole office in aluminum foil which we saw on youtube. We were talking about where the heck we could get that much foil without it costing an arm and a leg. We were working out some of the details for the prank and of course getting all excited about doing it. Sarah and I were talking and brainstorming some ideas and it just hit me what we could do. I told her I thought we should wrap everything in her office in Christmas wrapping paper instead of the foil. We both thought that would look awesome. We have never seen that done before or even heard of it being done so it was going to be something new also. So from there we began to put the plan in action. We started to slowly buy some wrapping paper and ended up with 12 BIG rolls. Which we found out in the end that was actually to much. I also started to talk to Jenny to see if she would be in Findlay during that time at all or would be able to come and help us with it. I have tons of pictures and videos I will be posting so this post will be nice and long. I just want to make sure everyone gets the full experience of us working on her office.

As the night went on and we pushed more and more caffeine down, of course that means we began to get silly and decided to have a little fun.

All good things must come to an end. We started the office around 3-4pm and ended up calling it a night around 2:10am. Whew.. it was one long night but well worth it because we ended up getting a lot done.

The second day has arrived and what would a good prank be without a set back here or there? When we arrived the next day we realized that the tape was not holding the wrapping paper up on the walls. So everything on the walls was falling down. So what does this call for? STRONGER tape of course. Oh and then we have Elizabeth who I think enjoyed torturing us even more. Ugghh seriously she had to get in the filing cabinet that day and apparently it couldn't have waited two more days. So I made up a new list called I'm gunna cut you list and Elizabeth took the number one spot for tearing into the filing cabinet and then Elizabeth also took the number two spot for ripping into Becki's desk drawer. (Which by the way I still get to cut you two times for that Elizabeth).


*This was me walking in the office the next day and finding all of the wrapping paper falling off the walls. Kind of makes the last couple hours of work that first night pointless but at the same time it was better we found out then instead of when Becki was walking into her office when she got back.

After fixing all of the walls and finishing up some small items, Jenny showed up to help us out. It's always nice having another pair of hands. She had to do some of the harder stuff that involved being on the ladder the whole time.


*This is just an update of what we have left to do. The ceiling was taking the longest. The floor didn't take long at all. It was pretty much just putting paper down on the floor and walking softly on top of it to put everything back in the office.


*This is the finished product. Becki's office has been officially turned into one BIG Christmas present. Merry Christmas Becki!! :)

We did end up catching Becki's reaction on video but before I show you that there is a couple more things that should be shared first. We got both Becki and Elizabeth some cute singing Christmas pets. Elizabeth then made us DANCE for candy because hers sings.. I WANT CANDY!!


*This is the gifts we got them. Elizabeth named hers Fluffy McFlufferson and Becki named hers Scruffy McScrufferson!!

The day Becki was coming back to work Sarah ended up getting in a car accident. :-( She was okay though which is a good thing but her car was not okay. I went into work early that morning to check on the office and make sure nothing was falling down. It was a good thing because everything covering the windows was down and since Sarah got in an accident I ended up being all alone trying to fix it before Becki got in. Sarah getting in an accident was bad but it ended up giving me a reason to actually be at work. Becki asked why I was there and I said because Sarah got in an accident but I was really there because I had the camcorder all ready to tape her reaction to her office. Okay now for her reaction.

Her reaction was pretty funny because I don't think she really expected that but I know she was expecting something.

This prank was so much fun to do and we got to listen to Christmas music the whole time (WooHoo). This will be very hard to ever top and will probably go down as my favorite prank EVER!!!

Drury Cookie

This is another non prank and out of order but one day for fun day Stacy and I got a cookie made. MMMMMM... these big cookies are so good! If you have never had one before you definitely need to stop by the mall and try one out. It was basically made because we are the best staff ever. There isn't much more I need to say about that without sounding like I'm just bragging about how awesome we are. ;-)

Pumpkin Carving

This one was not a prank we did but it was Sarah and I having some fun at work on a SUPER slow night!! We carved PUMPKINS.. FUN!!! For some reason even though I am terrified of spiders I decided I was going to do a spider on my pumpkin and Sarah ended up doing a cute kitty on hers. I did fry up the pumpkin seeds also and they were very good!!

*In this video we were trying to show our pumpkins glowing up but it wasn't working very good so you can't really tell what the images are when we turn off the lights but we tried.




*Elizabeth was gone (I forget why) but Sarah painted her a Welcome Back sign and we put my pumpkin on her desk. We put Sarah's pumpkin in Becki's office!

Stealing Elizabeth's Job

This is another non prank but one day Elizabeth left her jacket and name tag at work so of course that meant I needed to steal her job for the night. Somehow through the events of that night I ended up firing Heathyre and Toni's finger of death was born so watch out everyone. We decided Sarah would then become my assistant and Elizabeth was stuck being Sarah's assistant. (lol poor E)!

Third Prank: Hot Glue and Tampons

We did both of these pranks on the same day so I'll start with the hot glue prank. This prank we cannot take credit for because one of our trainers who came to the hotel when we opened gave us some ideas on pranks we could do. On the list was a prank to hot glue EVERYTHING on one of the managers desk. Right away we decided this prank was going to be on Becki. If I could give some advice on doing this prank I would suggest having a really BIG hot glue gun and not a small one like we had. When we were doing some of the smaller items it worked out okay but the big items like the phone and calculator were a little more difficult. The glue also didn't seem to hold as well on the bigger items. We had pens, pencils, money(coins), papers, phone, calculator and just about everything hot glued down. Under Becki's calender we even gave her an added bonus and hot glued her initials with some paperclips. We thought it would be fun to call Becki so she would have to attempt to pick up her phone but I think she got that up right away so it didn't turn out how we were hoping.

Now for the tampon prank. This one was fun because we had tons of tampons stacked in the cabinets above both Becki and Elizabeth's desks. There isn't a lot of explaining to do with this prank. We did a couple practice ones to see exactly how it would work and how many we could get stuffed in the cabinets so I have some videos on that. I was personally there for Becki's reaction and it was HILARIOUS!!! Both Jen and I couldn't keep a straight face when asking her for an envelope since they were in that cabinet. We tried to get the Housekeeping Executive to do it but she couldn't do it either. So eventually when we were around the corner we yelled to Becki and asked her for an envelope and of course she told us yeah no problem. Then we started to walk to her door and we heard ALLL of the tampons hitting the desk then heard Becki bust out laughing. It was so funny. *I was not there for Elizabeth's reaction so I will be asking someone about that here soon and I'll make sure I post what her reaction was also.*




*This was our first time practicing the prank so we didn't have a lot of tampons in the cabinet yet. We decided Jen was going to be the first test subject.




*This one we had a lot more in the cabinet. This time we decided to have Heathyre as our test subject!!

Oh and yes we practiced the prank so many times my knees were hurting from getting up on the desk to keep restocking the tampons in the cabinet!! :)

Second Prank: Elizabeth's (poor) car

The second prank we did was our first big prank. It took a lot of patience and waiting. We heard stories from Becki about a prank involving shredded paper in a vehicle. Well we decided this would be our first BIG prank on Elizabeth. It took us awhile to save all of the shredded paper and when we finally decided to do the prank it was a last minute decision so we didn't get a lot of pictures. We saved up 5-6 bags of shredded paper. Instead of throwing reports away we no longer needed we were shredding them. I'm not talking the long shreds of paper either we are talking super tiny square pieces of shredded paper. One day during a fun day (or maybe it was a baby shower) we were all at work and Ethan, Sarah and I decided we were doing it. We were able to sneak Elizabeth's keys and get the paper in her car without her knowing what we were doing. We ended up covering her front seat, back seat, (I forget if we did her trunk), we put it in her vents, visor and in her center console. She had shredded paper alllllll over. It's funny because she had to go to Columbus for work so they (as in Michael) had to get her seat cleared off so she could drive there. I find that super funny. Elizabeth was such a good sport though and I made sure to carry my keys in my pocket while I worked after that.

The one major thing I remember about this prank was that the day they put the shredded paper in her car we were playing some type of game that divided our whole team into two teams. Becki asked for what we wanted our team names to be and someone who knew about the prank suggested that one of the teams be the Shredders or something. I remember Elizabeth looking across the table and pointing at everyone going "Yeah we are going to Shred you!!" and everyone busted up laughing. Little did she know exactly what she was about to find in her car. I know the reason she went out to her car was because Becki started freaking out saying she had lost her debit card (which at the time was a really believable story to Elizabeth for some reason). Haha how funny her face was when she found out the real reason she had to go to her car! (Posted by: Stacy)

First Prank: Becki's Halloween Office

If I remember correctly the first prank we did was back shortly after we opened in 2008 during Halloween. We decorated Becki's office in a Halloween theme. We had cobwebs hanging all over her office and had spiders in that. You couldn't walk in her office without hitting a cobweb somewhere. We had the outside of her door decorated. We had Halloween decorations hanging from the ceiling. Unfortunately, we did not get any pictures of this so I have nothing to post or to show you what it looked like. It was a lot of fun to do and we ate Domino's pizza for dinner that night. Which as I came to find out was just the first of MANY MANY MANY free Domino's pizza we would be eating!! :)

Introduction

This blog will be a combination of all the pictures and videos we have taken from playing pranks at work. We have had a couple big fun pranks we have already done and are hopefully expecting some more. If anyone knows of any fun pranks we can do please let us know because we are always looking for new ideas!!
